What kind of content is Machinima looking for?

While there is no sure fire way to get your video(s) uploaded on our channel, there are definitely things that help! The most important thing we look for is QUALITY. This means a lot of things: quality cinematography, quality voice acting, quality script and just over all quality presentation. Remember, we receive thousands of submissions a day. Make sure to send us your best content so you stand out from the crowd.

The second factor is COPYRIGHTED MATERIAL. We are very strict about uploading videos that contain copyrighted songs, images, logos, etc. So if you uploaded a GREAT video but used a song by Linkin Park, we can't upload it to YouTube. There are a lot of sites that offer royalty free music, so be sure to check those out.

Please CHOOSE ONE channel to submit to from the list below. Submissions to multiple channels will not be accepted. Make sure this is the most appropriate channel for your content. Our community managers will check your videos out and contact you about what to do next!

If you direct scripted machinima, animation or live action comedies, action adventures, dramas or short films, please submit a video sample URL and a description of your channel to directors@machinima.com.

If you make gameplay commentary videos for shooters and FPS titles like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Halo: Reach, please submit to machinimarespawn@machinima.com.

If you make videos for MMOs (like WoW, SW:TOR, Rift), RPGs (like Dragon Age, Mass Effect, Skyrim), Minecraft, or RTS games (like SC2 or Command & Conquer), please submit to realm@machinima.com.

If you make anything related to sports gaming or culture then Machinima Sports is the place for you. From Madden and FIFA, all the way to "Real-Life" videos of parkour and other extreme sports, submit your channel description and a video showcasing the best of what you have to offer to sports@machinima.com.
